BETT listing for Questioning Origins
The BETT awards aim to reward world-leading, high quality, hi-tech teaching resources. Seeing Questioning Origins
listed as one of the six best products to hit the market this year in the "Secondary, FE + skills Digital Content" category confirmed our view that this is a great resource, and gives teachers confidence that what they buy will work and will work well.
Ofsted identifies Weak RE
How do we tackle the issue of weak RE in our schools? Ofsted's recent report "Transforming Religious Education" points to the need in both primary and secondary schools to help pupils appreciate and understand the different values held by different pupils, as well as to ensure that Christian beliefs sit at the core of RE teaching.
At the wonder project, we are pleased that both our secondary resource (Questioning Origins) and our primary resource (Primary Questions) meet both of these two goals.
New for KS2 - Primary Questions

- sample worksheets provide easy to follow templates for personal study
- 15% discount if you order online.
QO - now in 10% of schools
Over 10% of UK secondary schools now have bought Questioning Origins, and are finding it a useful tool for KS3. That's great, but it means that 90% of schools are yet to discover the resource. If you know a teacher who may be interested, point them to our website - and let them know that we are currently running a 15% discount if you buy online.
Wanted - partners in success
Our new website now sells small downloadable resources. We will constantly build new resources to address different parts of the curriculum, but are aware that day after day teachers around the country create great resources that don't get the sort of use they deserve.
We are looking for whiteboard resources that make teaching RE fun. We are also aware that many schools are starting to reduce the number of hours given over to teaching RE as a stand-alone subject, and are instead looking to address RE-type issues in other areas of the curriculum. For schools that have made this move, we would like to provide whiteboard resources that help teachers do a good job of addressing the RE need in this cross-curricular framework.
If you have created any wonderful resources that fit this remit, do get in touch and let us see them. If we think we can sell them, we will pay a royalty each time another school buys it from our site.
Cluster group discounts
How about discussing our resources at a cluster group? If eight or more people put in an order, we will offer an increased discount. Just call Michelle on 01454 851565 to discuss...
